Last weekend’s dream sequence shoot with the Arri SR II
Yesterday’s Set Up: Night Shoot
Aside from sweating like a dude… last night was pretty fun…
These are super old, but I passed them while going through my photo files.
I was the Grip/ Lighting Director on a Music Video this past fall. I wanna say these were from November or December, with this local artist named GLC… i think.
anywho, the shooting location was gross. We shot in this old Obama Campaign Office which has long been abandoned (kind of sad) There was water leaking from the ceiling since it was raining so hard. I was a bit nervous since I didn’t want anything to eff up my lights, but it was all about finding a spot where water wasn’t dripping (which was everywhere -________-)
I made the mistake of wearing converses (that were falling apart) so water seeped in and by the time we finished, my feet were cold and wet.
Obviously (since it was a rap video) I was the only girl on set besides the video model… who had an impressive waist to hip to butt ratio O_______O
The rapper’s friends/extras kept calling her Biggie Smalls… -______- ok then…
fun shoot though.
MV shoot today…
but more tomorrow… I’m pooped -_______-
night kids…
Saturday’s Shoot: Set Photos
Applying fake blood to the actor’s real scratches… He told me they were burning O____O … Those scratches were very real…
Yesterday’s shoot… kind of awkward.
I…. may, or may not have shot porn yesterday… That’s what it feels like anyway… All I can really say about it is that, it involves:
a dildo (a brown one called “Latin Baron”)
O________O
just know, that this is a student film, and the instructor is perfectly fine with it…
my eyes must be washed
Saturday’s shoot…
Shot with a Canon T2i, with a 28mm lens
used a glide track for the opening scene
dolly… which later had to be placed on skates… and greased down with oil
first time setting up a dolly track…
it was actually easier than I thought it would be… the hard part was actually putting the dolly vehicle on…
the wheels didn’t want to cooperate.
